Wie gesagt, dieses Forum ist keine ernsthafte Auseinandersetzung mit Problemen sondern nur PR für Blocktrainer. Ich brauche das nicht.
Wundervoll das du nach dieser generierten Standard Antwort scheinbar zufriedengestellt bist.
Deine Anfrage landet in Irgendeiner überfüllten Datenbank aber hey dein Feedback ist ihnen wichtig.

Feature Request for Native Bitcoin FullNode Integration in DSM
Dear Synology Development Team,
Thank you for considering user feedback to shape the future of DSM.
As a long-standing Synology user (with over 20 years of experience using various DiskStation models), I would like to propose the development of a native Bitcoin FullNode app directly integrated into DSM – without relying on Docker or Virtual Machines.
Reasoning and Justification:
Security:
Enabling SSH access from external networks significantly increases the attack surface. Many users, myself included, deliberately keep SSH disabled externally to protect their systems. A native DSM app would preserve the security architecture of DSM while enabling advanced functionality within the safe environment of the local network.
Resource Efficiency:
Docker containers and virtual machines introduce unnecessary overhead, duplicating base system functions and increasing RAM/CPU usage as well as power consumption. This is especially inefficient on always-on devices like the DiskStation. Native DSM apps are significantly more lightweight and optimized.
Hardware Capacity:
My DS923+ is equipped with 64 GB RAM, 40 TB HDD and a split 4 TB M.2 NVMe SSD cache (read/write). This is more than sufficient to run a FullNode – particularly when optimized natively without the virtualization layer.
Local and Private Use Case:
My goal is to run a FullNode purely for local purposes – no external access, no blockchain services. This enhances privacy and aligns with the decentralized philosophy of Bitcoin. The node will support personal wallets, validation and local lookup via VNC, without any mining or public service.
Market Advantage for Synology:
With the rising interest in blockchain and self-hosted infrastructure, a native FullNode solution would offer Synology a unique selling point. Competing NAS platforms rarely address this niche. A DSM-integrated FullNode would position Synology as forward-thinking, privacy-friendly, and technically progressive.
Willingness to Pay:
I would gladly support this as a paid app or as part of a subscription. Running such a solution natively would save me the cost of additional hardware (e.g., Raspberry Pi + SSD ≈ €380) and justify a small monthly fee (~€10 over 3 years).
This is not about circumventing costs – it’s about efficiency, security, and strategic capability built directly into DSM. Workarounds exist, but they are temporary and non-elegant. Let’s build something sustainable together.
