Genauso plötzlich wie es entdeckt wurde, hat Apple das Bitcoin-Whitepaper mit einer neuen macOS Beta-Version wieder entfernt.
Kann man ja wieder zurückkopieren.
Hach wäre das schön, wenn Faketoshi einfach Apple verklagen würde, weil sie einfach „sein“ Whitepaper in ihrem Betriebssystem versteckt hatten. Hat er aber bestimmt nicht den Mut - trotz der Publicity auf die er so scharf zu sein scheint - weil er mit dessen Anwaltsarmada nicht mithalten kann (und es ja auch nicht sein Whitepaper ist).

Mich wundert ein wenig, dass das Bitcoin-Whitepaper nicht unter einer freien Lizenz steht, die die Weitergabe ausdrücklich erlaubt.

Das bezieht sich auf das Whitepaper? Im Whitepaper selbst ist jedenfalls nichts zur Lizenz angegeben.

Im Whitepaper selbst nicht, aber Satoshi hat es damals auf Sourceforge unter der MIT Lizenz veröffentlicht.
